• Ulnar collateral ligament

• Radial collateral ligament

• Common extensor tendon

• Common flexor tendon

• Radial Tunnel

• Ulnar nerve

• Median nerve

• Biceps brachii

• Brachialis

• Triceps

• Elbow has 3 bumps & 2 depressions

• Bones should all fit together nicely

• Migration of the radius away from the joint space is one of the first signs of microinstability at the elbow

• Epicondyles

  • Fractures displaced <1 cm = conservative

  • Fractures displaced >1 cm = possible surgery

  • So mention whether the fracture is more or less than 1 cm displaced

Biceps

• Relevant things to report

  • What head is affected

  • Is the injury proximal or distal to the lacertus fibrosus (aponeurosis)

  • Is brachialis normal
